Privacy Policy

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, and an optional profile photo.
• Order information: which tickets you bought, for which event, and order totals — not your full card number, which is handled by the payment gateway directly.
• For organizers who request a payout: bank account details, visible only to EvenTickets super-administrators, used solely to send that payout.

To process orders, deliver tickets and QR codes by email, operate your account, prevent fraud, and respond to support requests.

Payments are handled directly by our payment gateway (currently WiPay or Fygaro). EvenTickets never sees or stores your full card details.

EvenTickets sets two first-party cookies used to keep you signed in — one for patron accounts, one for organizer/admin accounts. Both are encrypted, restricted to this site, and expire automatically (within 7 days, sooner if you don't choose "remember me"). EvenTickets does not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

EvenTickets uses Sentry for error and performance monitoring — this helps us catch and fix bugs, and is not used for tracking or advertising.

Data is stored in a Postgres database. Passwords are never stored in plain text — only a one-way hash. Daily backups are encrypted before storage. Ticket QR codes are cryptographically signed so they can't be forged.

We share the minimum necessary information with: the payment gateway (to process your payment), our email provider (to deliver order confirmations and tickets), and Sentry (for error monitoring). We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising or marketing purposes.

You can update your profile, email, and password at any time from your account settings. To deactivate your account or request your data be deleted, contact support@myeventickets.com.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable additional period needed for financial and legal record-keeping.

EvenTickets is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.

The infrastructure providers we rely on (database hosting, application hosting, email delivery, error monitoring) may process data outside of Jamaica.

EvenTickets may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; changes take effect when posted here.
