Terms of Service

By creating an account, purchasing a ticket, or listing an event on EvenTickets, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a ticket or hold an EvenTickets account.

Tickets are sold in Jamaican Dollars (JMD). Any applicable service or processing fees are shown as part of the order summary before you're asked to pay — the total shown at checkout is the total charged.

You may check out as a guest or create an account. Guest orders can later be claimed into an account.

Payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway (currently WiPay or Fygaro, depending on the event). EvenTickets does not receive or store your full card details — that information is handled directly by the payment gateway.

Refunds are not automatic. If a refund is approved, it is recorded on your order and the ticket is voided, but the money itself is returned outside of EvenTickets (for example, through the payment gateway's own merchant tools) — none of the payment gateways EvenTickets integrates with currently offer an automated refund API.

If an event is cancelled or postponed, the decision on refunds rests with the event's organizer; EvenTickets facilitates the refund at the organizer's instruction. Contact support@myeventickets.com if you believe a refund is owed.

Organizer accounts are created instantly through self-service signup, with standard fees applied unless otherwise agreed. As an organizer, you're responsible for the accuracy of the event information you publish and for delivering the event as described to ticket holders.

You may not use EvenTickets to publish fraudulent events, resell tickets in violation of these Terms, attempt to circumvent ticket limits or fraud controls, or interfere with the platform's normal operation.

The EvenTickets name, logo, and platform design are the property of EvenTickets.

EvenTickets may suspend or deactivate an account that violates these Terms, including in cases of suspected fraud.

EvenTickets is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EvenTickets is not liable for losses arising from an organizer's cancellation or conduct of an event, or from the acts of third-party payment gateways.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica.

EvenTickets may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
